Panama On Wheels Policy
Payments
Some services offered by Panama On Wheels might require payment directly to drivers or other collaborators and should be paid in cash at the moment of receiving the services. Payments directly to and through our office can be made in cash or credit card. Online bookings are generally done through PayPal. Some services might require a deposit before a booking confirmation.
Cancellation Policy
Applies to bookings properly confirmed via email.
Prepaid reservations canceled with a minimum 24 hours prior to the schedule pick up time, will be refunded in full minus any credit card or 3rd party fees incurred in the transactions.
Prepaid reservations that are cancelled with less than 24 hours prior to the scheduled pick of time, are entitled to partial refund of up to 50% minus any credit card or 3rd party fees incurred in the transactions.
Prepaid reservations that are cancelled with a less than 12 hours prior to the scheduled pick of time, are not entitled to a refund.
Security of Passengers
The security of the passengers is one of our top priorities. All our vehicles are certified by the Land Transportation and Transit Authority. Our vehicles are also inspected and certified by the Panama Tourism Authority to ensure safety and standards of quality. All our drivers are certified by the Land Transportation and Transit Authority and most also have their badges as certified Tour Guides by the Panama Tourism Authority.
Privacy
All the information gathered to make the reservations is strictly confidential. We do not provide name, addresses, numbers, email or any other type of personal information to other companies or persons, unless is the specific collaborator or affiliate that will provide the service you’ve contracted.
Delays and Unforseeables
Panama On Wheels and our affiliates are not responsible for delays caused by road works, traffic congestions, natural phenomenon, or any other type of conditions outside our control. Any additional expenses generated by clients as a result of direct delays in the itineraries for transfers and tours, including missing connections or delays in sites or agreed establishments are sole responsibility of the clients and might be subject to additional fees in case of occurrence.
Stolen or Lost Items
Panama On Wheels and it’s staff is not responsible for any items lost or left behind in the vehicles or tour destinations, visits, hikes or otherwise during transfers or tours. Panama On Wheels and it’s staff are not responsible for lost, stolen, damaged or misplaced items. Clients must act responsibly regarding their belongings at all times. Panama On Wheels will strive to return any and all forgotten items in our vehicles. Additional shipping fees that are generated to return these items to other countries will be responsibility of the owner of the goods. Use common sense, properly check and identify your bags, briefcases, laptops, and keep track of your luggage. Fun Fact: most common items left behind are cellphones, chargers, hats, sunglasses and small bags with souvenirs.
Tippping
Is a question of rewarding good service rather than an obligation; in Panama a 10% tip is the custom when possible but depending on quality of service. The tips are at your discretion and consideration, and they are handled directly between the client and the person providing the service.
